A recent $20K grant from the Gates Family Foundation has pushed our NoBo Capital Campaign over an important threshold.
Our generous donors have now contributed more than $1M towards our campaign to close a $1.5M funding gap.
The dollars raised so far have preserved the original footprint of the building in the face of escalating construction costs. And they will pay for the playground and outdoor amenities the community has asked for.
The remaining funding, if raised, will help pay for a new maker space inside the library, which is under construction and scheduled to open in 2024.
