Free Saturday children’s events, regular film screenings, variety shows, author talks, and art exhibitions will form the basis for a new series, with support from the Boulder Library Foundation.
Starting March 1 and continuing throughout the year, “BPLD Presents” will provide a diverse range of individual events and regular programs catering to a variety of audiences.
The cultural, civic and creative happenings focus on learning about and building the Boulder community.
At the heart of the series are “Family Saturdays,” a rotating series of children’s events taking place every Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Boulder Main Library’s Canyon Theater. They’ll feature music, dance, drag story hour and children’s theater. This will include at least a monthly performance sponsored by the Foundation’s LaCamera Music Series.
BPLD Presents also includes a wide variety of regular film screenings, “Spotlight: A Boulder Notoriety Show”, art exhibitions, and Foundation-sponsored author talks.
