Maximum Flexibility – Revocable Gifts

The future is uncertain.  However, you can still create a legacy gift today while simultaneously retaining full control over your assets for life.  These gifts are called revocable gifts.  If an unforeseen need arises, your assets are in place.  Only when your estate settles would the Boulder Library Foundation receive your gift. 

Unless you are confident that you will not outlive your assets, a revocable legacy gift is almost always the best option.  These gifts are generally one of the following:

• Bequest in a Will or Living Trust
• Beneficiary Designation in IRA or Retirement Plan
• Beneficiary Designation in Life Insurance Policy
• POD arrangement for a bank account

By naming us in your will, living trust or as a beneficiary, you create protection against future uncertainties. Should you need your assets, they are available.  If not, your legacy gift will come to the Boulder Library Foundation exactly as you desire.
