As we approach 2021, the Boulder Library Foundation is busy imagining the future of what live concerts will look like. Some recent performances (in other states) have involved performers and audience members encapsulated in their own personal ‘bubble’. Have you seen images of this?
While this is a fantastic idea, we agree that the Canyon Theater is not the venue for this, at least not for now!
We DO think the Canyon Theater is the perfect place to record our Midday Music Meditations and stream them to you to enjoy in your own home in the New Year. Does this interest you?
Up next, you are in for a treat, as more than a handful of Concert Series musicians are putting together musical holiday wishes just for you. You will get to listen to our beloved musicians playing some of their favorite pieces from their home to yours. Look for these mini-holiday concerts on social media beginning the last week of November.
Here’s a sneak preview of some of the musicians featured:
David Korevaar-piano
Zachary Carrettin-violin
Sandra Wong-Nykelharpa (a what? Nykelharpa: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nyckelharpa )
We look forward to having you ‘tune in’ soon!
