One of the best things we’ve done together in recent memory is to fund the creation and upkeep of the BLDG 61 maker space. We invite you to celebrate and learn more about the local maker movement with the return of Maker Made 2022, a gallery show celebrating the diverse and inspiring work produced by the makers in our community.
The Maker Movement represents the collective energy and ambition of a community of inventors, designers, engineers, artists, craftspeople, and tinkerers. Its ethos is a mixture of DIYer self-reliance informed by open-source learning, traditional craftsmanship, new technology, and modern design thinking.
The work produced as a result of this movement inspires us and demonstrates what we can achieve as a culture of creators. BLDG 61 is a maker space that provides quality maker education to the public at no cost in an inspiring and inclusive environment at the Boulder Public Library.
Maker Made 2022 will be on display in Boulder Public Library’s Canyon Galleryfrom Feb. 4 through March 28.
An opening reception, sponsored by Boulder Library Foundation, is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 4 at 6 p.m. Please join us!
