The Boulder Library Foundation has given so much to Boulder Public Library – and, in turn, our community – over the past 45 years. As the season of giving approaches this year, I invite you to consider supporting the new north Boulder Library by contributing to the Boulder Library Foundation.
As the key financial support organization for the library, the foundation is committed to ensuring that our library’s work continues far into the future. One of the ways that they have pledged to do so is through their upcoming $1.5 million Capital Campaign dedicated to supporting the construction and development of our new north Boulder Library. Our North Boulder Corner Library has established itself as a vital resource and its growth and necessary expansion will better serve our community.
The foundation makes a difference in many ways, including funding 90% of Boulder Public Library’s programming, granting more than $1.8 million to the library over the last five years. Attendance and participation in programs funded by the foundation have surpassed 100,000 annually.
On behalf of my incredible team, our volunteers and the entire Boulder community, we thank Boulder Library Foundation for its unwavering support over the last 45 years. We look forward to the next 45 years as the foundation continues to embrace our community of library lovers and supports us as we grow and evolve along with our patrons’ unique needs. I also want to extend a thank you to our foundation’s board members, who have personally committed a dollar-for-dollar match for the first $17,500 raised through the end of 2019 for the north Boulder Library capital campaign.
I encourage you to learn more about the foundation: sign up for their emails, visit their website and consider giving a small monthly donation to the foundation or a contribution to the north Boulder Library capital campaign. Help us all come together to ensure an exceptional future for our library and our community.
